Once, long ago, the mortals of the realm accomplished breath-taking acts of brilliance in the arcane arts that have long been forgotten. One wizard, whose name has been nearly lost to time completely is now remembered only in a few ancient dusty tomes that yet include his writings.
His name was Kieran, and some say he was the first to create the gate spells that many a wizard has learned to cast. Others suggest that he didn't create it, but truly was the first to master the spell and learn to travel to other fantastical places. Such a discussion might be expected in the great wizarding schools, but now his name become commonplace once again.
Recently, an ancient tome has been found wherein Archmage Kieran wrote about a platinum portal and places that it took him. At a recent meeting of mages, a frail looking vyan by the name of Den'tiren couldn't help but to gloat about his accomplishments in finding the tome and translating the ancient runic language within.
Something he said though, while bragging to anyone that would listen gave Etrahnin pause. Without sharing with the dark mage, he told several of his friends, that he had recently found a child, in the center of a newly created pool in a mountain river who was terribly close to death. This child, claimed to have in his possession a sphere of imprisoned sunlight; something strikingly close to what Den'tiren had mentioned.
The portal is at the top of the mage tower in training grounds: #17315 Ivory Spiral Stair
Everyone in the party will need a sunshine orb from the quest: Impress Isidorius And Destroy The Monster
Someone will need to activate the portal, either a mage or someone with an arcane battery. Batteries can be bought from the shops near toy tower: #68075 Spectacular Soldiers
The person who activates the portal will also need a pouch of turqoise dust. Available in orlumber: #33535 Orlumber's Luster
The young female can spawn in one of two places (she's wandering around looking for Isidorius). Either in the loop north east from the start or up near the Altar. The dragon is out the west size of the mazey bit to the north, then you need to do a search to find the way to the boss monster.

> look altar
You look at a pure white altar. This small square block of cumulus material appears to have been pushed up out of the surface of the cloud itself. This puffy white rectangle could be nothing other than an altar though, covered as it is in barely noticeable glowing sigils. The altar setup itself has no beginning, as it lies entwined with the cloud that spawned it to begin with.
> look sigil
These softly glowing symbols and runes are not in any language that you know. However, on one side, within a square is an inscription written in clear language.
> look inscription
Written in flowing but tiny handwriting, you are just able to read what the inscription says.
Consecrated by Raizelin to CLEANSE tools desecrated by evil.
Kneel before the universe.
Sprinkle with the dust of crystallized moonbeams <- cleric training grounds #77053 (small thief required)
Rub with the grindings of a cavern silver sage <- marble kingdom #3858 ?
Anoint with water consecrated by the holy
> cleanse hammer
You place your blood-stained hammer down upon the altar.
Following the directions, You kneel before the small altar.
You upend the pouch of crystallized moonstone, sprinkling the dust over the weapon.
As the air around you seems to warm, you crush the blossom in your hand and rub the leaves of the silver sage over your weapon.
With your left hand, you pour the holy water over the coated weapon, washing away blood and gemstone powder.
The once blood-stained hammer shines in the light, spotless as if it were just crafted.
Standing, you retrieve your new weapon. You sense a more pure power emanating from the hammer.
Drop rates seem to be around the 0.25% region for most things, In 580 runs i've only seen one of most items apart from the sparkling black collar.
Note: not all items worn by the angels in this zone can be popped
(actual loot drops from some weird mechanic that isn't regular death/disinitegration/fading away which breaks my loot tracking)
(the elemental drops are actually from the dragon, but the weird loot mechanics in here mess up my tracking)
